Preggi Central was established in October 2006 by sisters Kate McKenzie and Sarah Clark who saw a real need for a business that catered for women both during their pregnancy and beyond. Rather than establishing “just another maternity store”, Kate and Sarah’s vision was to create a “one stop shop” that caters for all the needs of new mums and mums-to-be, with an unparalleled commitment to customer service.
Preggi Central sources products from a large range of both maternity and traditional suppliers to maximise each garment’s appeal – during pregnancy and beyond. Let’s face it, nobody wants to spend money on a wardrobe with a limited life-span! You will often find the non-pregnant staff at Preggi Central wearing clothing that is available in the store to re-enforce the notion that your maternity wear should last you long after baby arrives.
Preggi Central prides itself on catering for all women, regardless of their shape or size. Both Sarah and Kate spend considerable time looking for new suppliers to accommodate plus sizes and customers with special needs. If we don’t have clothing in a size or style to suite a customer’s requirements, we often undertake “special missions” in an effort to find exactly the right thing to ensure that each and every customer feels special, and their needs are met. Its going that extra mile which has earned high praise from Preggi Central’s already extensive customer base.
