Will I make my rack fee back?
Honestly, we can't promise it. Nobody can, and you should be wary of anyone who does.
What we can tell you is what makes the difference. Racks that do well have clean, current, well made pieces, priced realistically, restocked through the booking, and adjusted when something clearly isn't moving.
Racks that struggle are usually priced on what the item cost, not what it's worth now.
Our team is in the shop every day watching what sells. Ask us. We'll tell you straight, and we'd much rather help you shift your stock than watch it hang there.
What makes a rack sell
Price it to sell, not to break even
Around 25% of what it cost new is a good rule. Higher if it's barely worn or current season, lower if it's had a good life.
Bring your best items first
The pieces you're proudest of are what draw people to your rack. Once they're looking, they'll browse the rest.
Restock every few days
A rack that changes gives our regulars a reason to come back and look again. It's the single biggest difference.
Mix your price points
A few premium pieces alongside everyday basics works far better than all one or all the other.
Drop the price after a week
If something hasn't moved, it's not a failure. It's just information. Adjust and move on.

How will I know when to drop off and pick up items?
You will receive an email with step by step instructions.
How long can I book for?
Fourteen or thirty days, starting on any date we have available. Most sellers find fourteen days is the sweet spot, long enough to sell properly, short enough to feel like a small commitment.
How many items can I put on my rack?
Fifty on a full rack, twenty five on a half. Bulkier items like carriers, prams and nursery items take up more than one space, so talk to us first if you're bringing those.
Can I add more items during my booking?
Yes, as often as you like, at no extra cost. Just pop in during opening hours. Restocking is one of the biggest items that separates a good rack from a quiet one.
Do you supply hangers?
Yes. Bring your items off your own hangers and we'll take care of it.
How do I tag my items?
Every tag needs your name, the price and a short description. Tags are easy to find at Kmart, Officeworks or Big W, or you can make your own. We'll send you a guide when you book.
How should I price my items?
Around 25% of the original retail price is a good starting point. Go higher for pieces that are new with tags or current season, lower for anything well worn. If you're not sure, ask us. We price maternity and kids wear every day.
When do I get paid?
We'll send your statement and your payment within seven business days of your pack down date. Your statement lists every item that sold and what it went for.
Can I discount my rack?
Absolutely. If items aren't moving you can drop your prices any time, or ask us to apply a discount across the whole rack. Just let us know.
When do I drop off and pack down?
Drop off is on your first day, any time during opening hours, and we'd suggest the morning so you get a full day of trade. Pack down is on your last day, ideally late afternoon for the same reason. Allow about half an hour for each.
What if I can't collect my items on the last day?
Let us know and we'll hold them, though storage is $20 per trading day and space is tight. Anything left after ten days may be donated.
Can I share a rack with a friend?
Yes, on full racks. You each tag your own items with your own name and we track your sales separately. Just tell us both names when you book.
Can I change my dates or get a refund?
Rack fees are non refundable and we're not able to move bookings once they're made, so please double check your dates before you pay.
What if my items don't meet your condition standards?
We'll take them off the rack and set them aside for you, and we'll always explain why. It's not personal, it's just that one stained singlet makes the whole rack look tired.
Do I need to be there while my rack is up?
Not at all. That's the whole point. Once it's set up, we handle everything.
Where are you and when are you open?
Shop 1, 22–24 Wells Street, Frankston, Victoria 3199. Open Tuesday to Friday 10am-3pm, Saturday 10am-5pm & Sunday 11am-4pm. There's free parking out front or on the roof for a small fee, we're pram accessible, with toilets and feeding chairs and a water dispenser if you need a minute while you're here.
